sweet nasty

i had a truly epicurean time on monday, tuesday. This is me. the good food, good music side which every once in cries in need of attention and i have go do the crazy thing after all my serious hard work.

The Joshus Redman workshop was really nice and left me all excited to see what he had to offer. He does truly look like Thia henry, which by some strange coincidenc no one knew, but when i said "Chimpaneze" they all nodded unanimously. He is quite cute la. But it brought back the memory of me sending someone a super imposed photo of the monkey on the arsenal jersey some big-match day a few years back. Einstein keybordist who also doubles as the bassit as the same time, who solos as well, drummer looking like a tall Stone from alias who is a super killer on drums and prodigy Willard lookalike guitarist. Tt's our complete band. Very cool. Plays ever cooler. I've never really heard the funk groove at this top. Despite us staking out at Harry's after, the didnt play. too bad. Was looking forward to see them jam. We are so asking for too much.Ha

Me armed with the josh gang, shopped, ate and went for the great music. but wat made the concert better was the person next to me doing the "Hey, i like e slow bossa groove"... so u see, like i've always insisted, the company is very important. Maybe is was the sake earlier that took effect. It definately takes sheer courage to deny a 5 hour charlie hunter session.
