results

my results were out yesterday afternoon... from the urgency of the tone of e receptionist, i knew i was bad news. they found 2 growths. one defined and one not-so defined. the doc recommended that i see a specialist. With a referral from the polyclinic to check on the defined "suspicious" nodule in the thyroid gland. OH, my mistake.. 2 nodules :(

3 possibilities..
a)bloodclot - operate and take out
b)tumor - not cancerous- take it out too
c)tumor- cancerous - take it out and all the other nonsense

this really came as a bombshell... the family have taken it rather well. I, am scared stiff.....

After hours waiting. the earliest appointment is next thursday at sgh. YES, priorty of a urgent case and the standard of public medical services in our country..

"In the meantime, in case of emergencies or high fever, u can bring your referral letter to A&E of SGH,"

Thanks alot man.... how is that supposed to make me feel better? All these and the reading up on the technical terms in my report has left me totally depressed..

worry but dun worry too much ok?.... i'm trying v hard.
