pre surgery
i finally plucked up enough courage to look for photos on thyroid surgery in a rather futile attempt to console and prep myself for wednesday's op.
It is very depressing.... with the scar of the minimally invasive surgery at 6 to 8cm.
IT is very obvious... AM Saddest...

no worries dear, there's always vitamin C and E to help. Plus no dark soy sauce and chicken, so let's eat healthy and stick to veggies. =)

Hey... My ex-colleague went through the same procedure. She hid it with scarves while it was still stiches. Took some time to recover.
Her surgeon was one who does plastic surgery and he managed to do it so nicely that the scar isn't that obvious that it forms just like one of her neck rings.
Stay optmistic. Fear and worry is normal but stay optimistic.
