hongkong!

why i really enjoyed my trip...

Food (3 regular meals a day, 2 tea breaks n supper)- go figure e amount of food i ate in 5 days.....
- I love w wanton mee. no kidding. i ate it once everyday for 5 days. in soup or
fried. with drops of shrimp chilli oil and vinegar in e soup... slurp.



- Dessert... "Xu liu xiang" e mango dessert in sago. Must have in between shopping breaks.



- Tea "Cha cang teng" food. Pork chop bun n milk tea.... ooohh.



- Seafood, E mantis prawn. Watever to rashes. Roe filled prwans. each prawn, roe from head to tail... fried in salt, vinegar n chilli. oh, though i dun take clams, e "hum" is e size of my fist... very scary.









-Chee cheong fun and "wun zai qi"... sesame and sweet sauce in e cheong fun. e "wun zai qi" puts e local pasar malam version to shame...



hotel (langham place @mongkok)
- they play cartoons in e lift, spongebob squarepants, popeye
- they have surprise treats sent to your room every night! chocolate desserts...
- The room service comes twice a day to refill n pack everything. I must have brought back like 5kgs worth of toiletries, slippers n nonsense.
- the sunrise n night view of hongkong is amazing.




Shopping
brands that they dun carry in singapore, + ON SALE somemore!!!
good quality and value for $. i have so much to wear i feel guilty! no more shopping till next year!

most happy i found the vintage edition of the mickey mouse watch. the one where the min and hour hands are mickey's hands. needless to say, it cost a BOMB!

So now i can just stay at home, eat my "turtle" jelly and be a good girl until i have some wat mended e extensive damage to my pocket. it is a beautiful place and i dig the taxi rides in e city. feels like a mini roller coaster. Very cool...

on my way to dinner today i finally got hold of my mum on phone after trying the whole day. She received credible news that she was going to ken arrow for a branch transfer. if u noe me for a long long time u will know that my mum works like a block away... and the "new place" is ulu jurong. yess... so she told me she's going to quit her job. a job that she loves dearly for the last 10 years... hai.

So me with my excessive worry genes just cannot help but worry and worry some more.

how to not have so many "xin Shi"....

today is also mr lim and my first wedding anni. what a year it's been. Love ya honey.
